Episode 420 - Sudden Showers
Crinoline Invitation
Give it a personal touch...
One thing I always enjoy about receiving hand-made invitations is that they sure do say, "someone out there loves me, and has taken some time to make a nice invitation." When planning a bridal shower why not try your hand at a crinoline invitation creation?

Supplies
  • pale yellow coloured card stock
  • crinoline
  • fine-tipped marker
  • silk flowers
  • ribbon
  • hole punch
  • glue gun
Method:

Write out all of the details for the bridal shower on the card (who the shower is for, date, time, location, and RSVP #). If you are a little unsure of your artistic talent, see if a friend can assist you by doing this on a laser printer. Cut crinoline to the size of the card (*please don't be mad at me, as crinoline is difficult to cut; simply persevere, and you'll get it!) Punch hole in top centre of card. Tie ribbon through hole. Using a glue gun, affix silk flowers to the crinoline. Transfer invitation into a corresponding envelope, stick it in the mail and you'll be celebrating in no time!
