Episode 425 - Garden Party
Citronella
Keep those pests away...
Imagine that you're hosting a successful garden party, everyone is having the best time, and suddenly, "zzz, zzz, zzz", those bugs are upon us! Have no fear, Citronella's here!

Help is as close as your nearest planter, thanks to the Citronella geranium. Citronella is a little grass that grows in the Far East. In North America, they've cross-bred it with geraniums to create this very fragrant, and effective insect repellent. So effective, it is being used in tiny tea lights, and even in gigantic buckets for those bigger bugs.

From buckets and candles to the plant itself, citronella and its derivative, sound and smell like a great idea. So, all you bugs keep away!
