When taking the time to plan a special event such as a Passage to India, why not go all out and offer your guests a change to their party look? We accomplished this for our female guests by draping them in colourful silk saris and adorning them with faux jewelry, earrings, bindi, tikkahs and churis. For the guys, we brought in Nehru jackets and leather sandals. Sometimes it’s these added details that will help you to transport your dinner guests from the dining room to far off and exotic lands. In this case, the costumes sent them on a magic carpet ride to India. What a trip! |
