Episode 307 - Green With Envy
Real McCoy
Pretty as a picture
In April, 1910, Nelson McCoy and his father began manufacturing functional and decorative stoneware in Roseville, Ohio. Their company produced jars, jugs, and crocks often embellished with leaf and berry motifs. Finishing these works in a spectrum of green and brown glazes made them durable and they were the hallmark of the look. How to tell if you've found an authentic piece? That's easy! Just look for the real McCoy!
