Sloppy Joes
Slip slop sloop...
As the saying goes- "it's not a party without a spill!"; and, it's also not a fun week of meals without at least one sloppy recipe. No, it's not Sloppy Niks, it's Sloppy Joes! Here's a simple, tasty, and fun recipe I hope you'll enjoy:

Ingredients:
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 2 tbsp canola or sunflower oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef (*can use chicken instead)
  • 1 can pork and beans
  • 2 tsp mustard (*any kind: use your favourite!)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • sesame buns

Method:

Heat oil in pot over medium high. Add in onion and celery and sauté. Add ground beef and continue to sauté. Pour in pork and beans. Stir. Add mustard and ketchup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Blend well and continue to heat. Present on sesame buns - nice and sloppy!
