Blue Granita
Simply deliscious
A cool, tasty dessert, Granita can be made with virtually any fruit juice, but our choice here was lemonade. First, pour eight cups of yellow lemonade into a bowl. Then add some blue food colouring to give your Granita a hue of pastel blue. Don’t forget that you can use any colour for added excitement.

Transfer the liquid into a shallow baking pan and place into the freezer. Every half hour take the Granita from the freezer and run a fork lengthwise along the top. This “whips” the ice, making it more frothy. Do this a few times and you’ll have a refreshingly flaky dessert, one that’s low cal no less.
